Tenuta Le Forconate was founded to give voice and value to the border territory between Tuscany and Umbria and to the DOC Colli dell’Etruria Centrale.

Established in 2008 by the third generation of the Barbanera family, Tenuta Le Forconate encompasses 26.5 hectares of vineyards in the hills of San Casciano dei Bagni and Cetona, in the province of Siena.

The varieties cultivated are Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sagrantino and Vermentino, rooted in a territory of great environmental variability and high biodiversity.

The selection of Tenuta Le Forconate wines represents a contemporary, refined and distinctive interpretation of a part of Tuscany whose beauty and potential are still waiting to be fully discovered.
